My apoligies for making up the tail end, (it wasn't shown in the ref or couldn't see it) I should've covered it but yeah...
I think I'm starting to decrease my colouring skill not just that I haven't used photoshop for a while, but using a different version as well, that is Elements 8 due to my laptop that was corrupted weeks ago and upgraded/fixed by my dad's friend.

My you've improved a lot with the anatomy and proportions!
Let me start off with the pose, it's great and realistic, plus, the shading you've done emphatizes it very well
The colouring is in a perfect combination with the character and also with everything! It doesn't take out the attention from the character but mix the focus on it, great work!
The character is great too and I bet the owner would love it! : )

Once I get use to Elements, the colouring for my next drawings will be much improved...maybe |D;
