As you all know, I've been studying faces a lot lately and I'm putting my new knowledge to test. I sculpted this entire piece by memory, not strand of hair was borrowed from a model or dimples used from an actress, all 100% hand crafted.
Took me a bit to get her just right, but I used my good ol flip it in the mirror trick to catch my mistakes and Im also getting better at jumping out of my body and critiquing my own work with fresh eyes and that's no easy feat because you constatly have to be ok with hearing yourself say, "ah, you made another mistake" over and over again until you get it right
She was shaded like an airbrush but colored with #CopicMarkers and fine tuned with #graphite . This is the very 1st time I've ever drawn freckles, it was an adventure I enjoyed and I will travel down that road again
Today is my cheat day and I want a chilly cheese burger, what about ya'll ?
