Wow this is a great drawing!
In a lot of pictures of her here at deviantart she doesn't resemble herself so much but you did an excellent job!

I've not really given advice before but I'll have a go! Just to warn you that hair takes the longest time out of everything so you've got to be prepared to put in the time. If I'm using graphite pencils what I do is use a harder pencil to do the outline and lightly put in where all the dark lines will be. Then you just sort of use strokes to fill in various strands at each end leaving a light part in the middle for the shine. Then I go onto darker pencils and do more strokes at the top and ends. Then I smudge the darker pencil using my finger all the way down and up each strand still leaving a bit in the middle for shine.
I hope that helps! That's how I usually do it but sometimes (like with the Carmen Cass drawing) I just draw it exactly as I see it and do literally ALL the detail and don't use the strokes technique or too much smudging. But that takes forever!!

Oooh, I understand how that could take forever and yes, I know hair takes the longest, thats why I have the hardest time with it!! But your advice is wonderful and I'll be sure to try it.
Do you have any advice on drawing eyes at all? I so wish I could do eyes as you do! Your are so amazingly drawn!

Well personally I think you draw eyes really well! Especially in the Estelle and Aine ones. Think you've got it just right there. I think most of it is getting the shine right and knowing how to frame it (like especially women's with eyeliner and stuff) and you've done great there! Do you draw from a reference? Because if so you can mix and match so if the person's eye looks dull on the ref go and find a smiliar one that looks great and use the details from that one.

Oohh, mix and match, aye? Sounds good to me! Yes, I usually always draw from a referance. And thanks so much! It makes me feel good to hear someone say I'm good at eyes, because I see so many people who draw gorgeous eyes and I can never seam to get it right.
