Description

Hunter's Main Areas

1. Outdoor Market | Forum

This is where merchants tend to sell the most wares in the city and is kinda like the city square. It's pretty wide open with small stalls set up in rows. Hunters are welcomed here as they tend to deter thievery and general public disruption among both people and their felines.

2. The Coliseum-

Here gladiators and felines alike fight for the entertainment of the crowds. Unlike the roman Coliseum, this one only has 3 sections for seating and in comparison is fairly smaller. The Oval shape ensures that cats can't be cornered and have a chance for a "fair" fight. Underneath the coliseum is where the humans keep the more exotic creatures such as Ostriches, elephants, hyenas, and any other non feline animals for the games as these are much harder to transport then the felines.

3. Training Fields-

This is where the hunters do most of their training. Each "field" is surrounded by a high wall to ensure that the noise as well as any "training dummies" (aka captured cats used for training) don't escape. Gladiators may also train here though they have their own training facility elsewhere.

4. Captured Empire Cats-

This is where the hunters exclusively keep the captured empire cats. They are nowhere near as roomy as the cages where the coliseum cats are kept and are guarded 24/7 by the hunters. If they end up with too many captured cats they do have overflow areas below the coliseum but to keep the cats from tainting the coliseum cats, they try never to mix the two.

5. Coliseum Cats-

Made exclusively for cats meant to fight in the games, this is where the coliseum cats are kept. They're cages are fairly bigger than a captured cat's cage but it's nowhere near luxurious. Hunters also patrol the halls more as a deterrent for foolish cats thinking to escape then to actually watch them. There is a night guard posted at both entrances. Humans can come through and preview the cats for the games if they so desire as well as offer to buy particularly impressive specimens to add to their breeding programs.

6 Hunter Gardens-

The Hunter Gardens is the area that full fledged hunters typically gather when they're not training or out on raids. At the far end of the gardens is the temple of Apollo (God of the Sun, Weapons, and Medicine/Healing), and within is normally an area with food and drink for the cats. It is also the site of the hunter's gathering and where they usually receive orders from their leader or masters. Cubs and apprentice are welcomed here.

7. Bath Houses-

As is well known, Romans were obsessed with cleanliness and showing off their ability to manipulate water in general. The bath house is the city's second pride and has 3 different areas. The first is for the men, the second for women, and the third is exclusively for felines. Hunters are free to enjoy the baths after their daily duties and was away the sweat and grime of the day.

8. Tribune Gardens-

Originally much closer to the ports, after the war the Tribune Gardens were moved closer to the hunter's main bases in an effort to increase protection of the youngest of the hunters. This is where the Tribunes and younger apprentices stay while they begin training. Once getting old enough, they're aloud in a few of the other hunter areas as well.

9. Hunter Hang Out-

This is the one area of the city the cubs are not normally welcomed into. The Hunter Hangout is more for the adults to relax in. Food and drink is also provided here but hunters don’t have to worry so much about setting a good example for the tribunes or apprentices. Fine wine and other such treats are also offered here on occasion.

10. The Breeder's Keep-

This is where 87% of all the breeders in the city live. They have the best cages for captive cats and tend to have the best treatment in general. It's also where the Hunter Breeder Program is housed as well and where hunters sign up for the programs when they come of age and receive their leave of absence for the duration of the program.

Other Areas

Upper Class | High Class living areas

Basically this is where the rich people of the city live. Close enough to the center of the city so they don't miss any of the action and far enough from the poorest people to pretend they don't exist. Many of these people have homes big enough to house their hunters in house rather then having them live in the temple or hunter gardens. Most of these people often have 2-3 pets in addition to their hunters.

Middle Class

The people that make up the bulk of the city are those who are too poor to be considered "Upper Class" and yet too well off to be poor. They're the ones in the middle and are your typical working class in general. Most live in building complexes like apartments while other own their own modest homes. Most of these people can own 1-2 pets at most and a handful of lucky people own a hunter.

Low Class-

These are where the poor live. They normally do not have the money to own a pet much less an expensive hunter and often spend their lives watching these cats from afar. If one were to miraculously gain ownership of a hunter, it would be a surefire way out of poverty and into the middle class.

Military Bases and Housing-

As has been seen on numerous occasions, the Romans have an obsession with their military might. Revered by middle and low class people as the holy grail out of their situations, the military has no shortage of volunteers. Pets and other felines are also signed up with the program to further their military's strength and teach the cats discipline.

Ship Merchants-

This includes all the merchants who ship their wares over seas. They stay in small apartment like buildings or own private modest homes where they can spend longer amounts of time between voyages.

Merchants-

This doubles as personal shops as well as apartments for local merchants and merchants that travel over the land. The smaller the merchant's wealth the farther from the center of town is his store and home, the more wealthy, the closer to the center of town. The Forum is where Merchants can set up small booths to give their wares a boost in sales. It's also the setting for local festivals and other fun city times.

Farms-

Pretty self explanatory, this is where a lot of the food for the city is raised. Farms can range in variety from common cattle farms, to crops, to specialized orchards. The farms are scattered into the surrounding areas but since they are outside the walls they are vulnerable to the attack from Empire cats and other wild life. A lot of farmers have paid the money to get a good hunter or other protection feline on the premise to deter the attacks.

Country Villas-

Normally used in summer as the high class's retreat into the "country side". Most are family owned and have been passed down for generations. Lavish and overly luxurious these places can be prime targets for luxuries for the empire cats if the villa is not properly guarded.
