Absolutely stunning. As I'm currently performing in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, this is very timely on a personal level. With quick changes on my mind, does the front actually button up with all those buttons?

You did an excellent job in re-creating a vintage piece. Did you use a re-print pattern from the past, or one that was actually based off of a period dress (the kind that Historical Societies create based on a dress in their collection)? Great choice of color and you look stunning in it! A great piece to add to your portfolio. I've done a lot of Victorian plays and LOVE the Victorian era, and once collected actual vintage pieces, but sadly due to financial problems that arose from being out of work, I had to sell off my collection, but I know they went to people who cherished them. Thanks for sharing!

I used as basis "patterns of fashion" and draw the patterns for my own measurement.
I would love to create some more costumes and get a collection but you are right- the materials for such costumes are not the cheapest and the costumes need also lot of space.
