ive never really explored the gender identity of any of these characters, so im really just open to whatever my readers want to make them out to be haha. archie being a male calico was initially just because i wanted a red/black/white cat and i didnt know many cat breeds at the time (fun fact male calicos exist theyre just suuuuuuuper rare) but tbh the idea of trans archie is pretty intriguing. i dont really have a preference, so archie can be trans if you want or if u want him to be cis thats fine too.

(juust some info that you either probably know about or don't need to know, but while male calicos and torties are possible to exist, not only is it 1 in 3000 chance in torties and calicos, but almost all of them are unable to have kits and might have some other health issues due to Klinefelter's syndrome, so realistically Archie would have a number of problems....
Sorry if this is annoying, i just wanted to share this fact ;>> feel free to have him as possibly cis if you want to!)
