Okay, so this page was supposed to be released on Friday night but for the next few days Im going to be swamped. So Im giving out an early release ^^ This and page 8 are going to be put up tonight. Normal releases will resume next week Friday night or some time on Saturday ^^

Dukstar looked beyond Ratstar to see the faces of the small group of Starclan council members. Each face filled with sorrowful fear and longing for her to accept her task. "You know we aren't allowed to directly interfere with the clans," Ratstar continued, "Just giving you this chance has cost us our places among the stars." The gray tom's voice carried a certain growl to it that was angered as he continued again, "You at least have the opportunity to make a difference."
Duskstar's defiant countenance disappeared and her eyes softened. Quietly the she-cat whispered, "Ratstar..."
The tom eyes stared at her questioningly yet a slight bit surprised at the vulnerability he now found in her voice. He replied with a small, "Hm?"
Duskstar's mask of defiance was no where to be seen as she tenderly asked, "Is it really possible that I can save my nephew from a fate worse than the dark forest?"
