Why do I write?Not because of you, not to make you feel special. Not to show you what I'm feeling, or to take you into my soul. I write to remind myself that I matter, that I think, that I feel, so I can tell myself that these words will live beyond me and someday be a tiny whisper to tell the world that I was here.
I write so that I can sleep, so I can lie down at night without thousands of words screaming to get out of my head. So that when morning comes there will be room for new words, more ideas, so that all those old words don't go stale and steal me away.
I write so that all these ideas, these stories, these people in my head don't come together and push me back far enough that they can control everything that I have left.
Why do I write? Don't kid yourself -- this isn't for you. It's for me.

It's great. And I can understand you when you say that you don't write for other people. I have some poems, I never showed to anybody too and I never will

I am not sure. Sometimes I do translate my poems into other languages. But it's difficult to keep the rhymes. I will look, if I made an english version. Would a french one be okay too? ^^
