It wasn't too bad, I only hatched around two boxes worth of eggs plus in this gen, you don't have to keep ducking in and out of the daycare to free up space for new eggs. My shiny Furfrou took much longer, but that also was without a shiny charm.

It's a bit dull, but worth it if you put in the time. I've been preparing to start hatching eggs. I want a particular member of my main team to be shiny.

Oh yes. I've done the shiny chain thing, and was only successful once.

Maybe you just have poor luck? I know it takes 70+ PokΓ©mon knockouts before the chances of Shiny PokΓ©mon increases in a SOS battle.

You can't have my little cutie, but I am sure you can breed your own little Rowlet too. Just make sure to get the Shiny charm first, it makes it way easier.

You have to complete the Alola National Pokedex, which does mean some trading is required. Thats how you get the shiny charm, which stacks on top of the Masuda Method and the SOS battling perks.

No worries, it's something to do at your own pace.
