Description December 24th, beautiful sunset over Elliot Bay in Seattle. A cargo ship is almost silhouetted against a pink and orange sunset. The colors were unreal - I was riveted.

This was shot from my sweetie's workplace balcony. If I worked there I'd never get anything done - I'd be out on the balcony taking pictures all day!

Amazing, weren't they? I couldn't believe it as they got crazier and crazier throughout the hour The fun part was postprocessing this photo and trying to get the colors to look like they had looked to my eye. Pixels aren't really suited to that! I got close, though
