I didn't expect to be inking/colouring her, and I definitely didn't expect to be proud enough of her to upload her to DeviantART! I imagine this is how she feels when she accepts the fact that she'll never be human.

It's increasingly bizarre because I know where I went wrong a lot but I can't fix it because it's not digital. Oh, woe is me.

I decided to re-learn how to draw ponies. In fact, how to draw in general. Previously I learned to draw by seeing lines and making them happen on paper. Sometimes the lines were in my head. This was all fine and good, but I must say, it's no good for different poses and understanding how things work in Euclidean space.
Now, however, I'm learning all about underdrawings, sketching, doing that shapey-thing that artists do, and all sorts! Thankfully I have a bit of a headstart in that my hands actually know how to draw.

Hang on, if this is Pony #4 then where are 1-3? Alas, not postable here. They were crude sketches and not worth showing. And why am I numbering them in the first place?
Well, in light of my re-learning how to draw, I'm going to draw 100 ponies. This is #4, and I didn't expect it to be going so well.
