I wanted to try and be arty. It wound up just making me angry in the end. If anyone has some good info on how to paint in SAI. Like make it look panted (what tools to use etc.) lemme know.What I got, I did mostly with the water tool in SAI.
Did the hair with the brush tool on a low density.
Done off a old picture of a friend on Gaia.
I learned that I know very little about actual painting, but I'll take another shot at it some other time.

Only way to learn is to do it seems. It's working for me anyway. Just find some art you like and try to emulate it, you'll eventually pick up a few things.

Detail, and contrast, but I couldn't really get the colors I wanted to work at all, so I couldn't make the picture pop at all. That, and I know little about painting.

For some reason the coloring reminds me of one of those bratz dolls.
