Description

The T1N protocol droid was a model variation of Cybot Galactica’s TC series, introduced during the early years of the New Republic.    Created to act as a nanny for young human and humanoid children, the designers made some notable changes, such as reshaping the top of the chest to resemble mammalian breasts.   All T1Ns had feminine programming and advanced processors and extra programming geared to the upkeep, protection and teaching of young children. It was thought at the time that the T1N’s mother-like shape would ease the acceptance of a baby to the droid.    The photoreceptors in the droid’s eyes were given a less harsh, softer light blue color, also geared to calm an infant.   Special care was given to the mid section as well, where, unlike the rest of the TC and 3PO series, wires were hidden from sight and the curiosity of toddlers.

As a result, the T1N series was very popular with busy working mothers that did not have time to be tied down to an infant.   Many children grew extremely fond of their T1N unit and several served multiple generations of the same family.   Known for their exceptional service, the model focused on child care rather than translating.   As a result, the T1N had a limited Tranlang communication module, and thus only understood about 100,000 languages instead of the typical 6 million of the 3PO series.

T1N-LZ2 (commonly called ‘Tin Lizzy’) was a silver colored T1N model serving as a nanny for a Senator’s family on Hosnian Prime.   She was on board a starliner returning to her duties after being sent alone to have her memory module upgraded and some minor repairs to a knee joint on Eufornis Major (her master’s home world, which he represented in the New Republic Senate) when the First Order destroyed the Hosnian system, including her master and his entire family.    Horrified and lost, she disembarked on Drear Mund, where the starliner stopped when word of the catastrophe reached them.

Tin Lizzy was based on Dazinbane's C-3PO model, attached to the Genesis 8 Female body.   Obviously I redesigned her chest, plus giving her mid section a neater appearance than a bunch of wires.   I figured that would not be logical for a droid tasked with caring for infants and children to have. the plating and eye color was also modified.   Drear Mund is a world of my own creation, all the other places are Lucasfilm worlds.
