Venture Bros. fanart! been meaning to do some for a while. But I couldn't think of anything in particular to draw. UNTIL NOW! Season 3 yay!Oh, what could have been!
Anyway, I decided it was boring and at the last possible minute added text and that paper texture. Haha I so fudged Sally CAN YOU TELL? (She's supposed to be back further than Jonas but as is it just looks like she has a giant head because of her tiny shoulders.) Ahh muscles. I had no references for her at all, shut up!
Also, I fail at perspective forever. but we all already know that.
The Venture Brothers belongs to Jackson Publick and Doc hammer!
BTW this isn't a spoiler, this doesn't actually happen or anything.

Now that JJ is dead, this will never happen.Β It would have actually given Rusty a real purpose, to arch his more successful brother.
Less-successful brother against more successful, more handsome (yet dwarfish) brother, belittled, scorned, and bullied by his own father, a serious chip on his shoulder, it's all perfect supervillain material.

Yeehaw! I just saw the episode recently, and was wondering if anyone had done this. Kudos, love. It's gorgeous in the very 'Venture'-esq colouring deptartment, plus the concept makes me laugh. Rusty's a bleeder- worst supervillian ever.

Okay so I just now found this, days after the end of yet another fabulous season three episode that has a certain awesome character beginning to arch JJ in the post-credits action! Second best thing to Dr. Venture doing it himself, IMHO.

I can definitely see the Monarch enjoying arching JJ, simply because the experience of being the nemesis of someone who isn't a failure (or a "wenis") must be awesome. But deep down in his soul, he hates RUSTY Venture--I hope we find out why this season!

Yeah, I'd be happy finding out why the Monarch hates Rusty, but I'd also be content if it remained a mystery.
I loved the new episode! It was so great when the Monarch shouted at JJ and called him "Dr. Venture!" then turned to Dr. Girlfriend and went "I love saying that!" It seems JJ's arching escalation allows the Monarch to go after Rusty again, though, so I guess we'll soon be back to the way things began.

God it was a great episode. I love that the Venture Brothers isn't afraid to mess with its status quo but we've still got a baseline of how things should be. Ahh, can't wait for more!

Last night, after watching a bunch of Venture Bros., I was thinking, "I wonder if people draw fanart for this show?" but I never bothered to actually look for any because I forgot.

It actually didn't click for me that it was a supervillain outfit till the episode had moved on a bit... I just thought for a while it was Killinger's idea of fashion or something. I am massively slow. But I thought it was great too, thus drawing XD

It seriously took me almost to the end to realize what Killinger was doing. Β Maybe I'm dense, but I thought they pulled that surprise well. Β My only issue is that Rusty, despite having a revelation about himself, really didn't develop at all. Β I was disappointed by that. Β I'm okay with him still screwing up, but I would have liked him to at least get someΒ motivation to improve out of it.
