𝓙𝓪𝓶𝓲𝒆 ℒ𝒆𝒆 ℒ𝒆𝔀𝓲𝓼 - ℛ𝓸𝔂𝓪𝓵 𝓢𝓾𝓶𝓶𝒆𝓻 ℬ𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓘𝓷 𝓘𝓬𝓲𝓪 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓽𝒆𝓼𝓽 𝓔𝓷𝓽𝓻𝔂
Jamie Lee Lewis , the freckled blonde villain-in-training stepped slowly into the exquisite ballroom of the palace belonging to Icia's royal family. Her soft brown eyes darted about the room taking everything in. Everything was so beautiful! The theme of the ball was summer but yet there were traces of winter and ice everywhere. Some people might have disliked the inconsistency of that but Jamie loved it! She was one of the few humans who actually knew and liked Ice Beasts. The eighteen year old had been friends with two sisters from Icia since she came to the academy when she was fourteen. They had befriended her when she wandered into their city after running away from the school over summer break when she discovered her parents did not want her coming home. She was simply supposed to live at the school and spend every moment there! She'd been furious and brokenhearted! Fortunately... or perhaps unfortunately, depending on how you looked at it, Morrigan and Tiamora Sinclair discovered her and took her under their wing. Jamie was extremely grateful to them, especially Morrigan, and willingly became their spy at the school. Things had been changing recently, however, and Jamie was beginning to feel guilty about spying on the people who were finally becoming her friends. This ball promoting peace was a welcome turn of events!

As the young psychic glanced around in search of any familiar faces, she smoothed her elegant white gown and straightened the trade-mark bow in her hair. She was hoping that if everything worked out at the ball there would be true peace between the races and she could stop spying on her friends! Maybe Morrigan and Tiamora were thinking the same thing. She certainly hoped so! Where were they anyway? They'd promised they were attending, even Mistress Morrigan who didn't much like the royal family and didn't like stuffy balls and parties either. Maybe she was somewhere with Mr. White, her date. Dates often made each other late, or so she'd heard. Jamie had never been on one. This made her frown slightly as she again fidgeted with her snow themed gown.

Jamie had designed the gown herself and with help from Ms. Rosalyn Lazzaretto , had created it as well. She'd taken inspiration from the Sinclair sisters' favorite gowns. Tiamora's dress was mainly white and white was also one of Jamie's favorite clothing colors so she chose that for a base. Both sisters had blue in their gowns so Jamie included both shades of blue for accents. Morrigan loved pearls so the teenage spy added a number of those as well and she included similar snowflakes to the one on Lady Tiamora's gown for good measure. She knew it was a summer ball but Jamie was more interested in honoring her Ice Beast friends giving the ball than celebrating the summer season. Needless to say, the young psychic was quite proud of her work! Now she just wished she could find the sisters to show it to them!

As Miss Lewis continued her survey of the beautiful ballroom, she finally did begin to notice familiar faces, even if they weren't the ones she was looking for. She spotted her friends from school, Scarlett Johnson and Bennett Clark dancing together. They looked so adorable! Jamie was a bit of a hopeless romantic, to be honest. She just didn't always want everyone to know. She was supposed to be a villain after all. She waved at them though she doubted they saw her. She also spotted the sweet hero Raven Grey as well as his sister Cerulean whom she was learning to like, despite her being a bit loud and crazy. They seemed like they were waiting for their dates who she assumed must be the masculine heroine Aria Tyler and the flirtatious, obnoxiously loud, villain Rael Kess. They were two people that Jamie hadn't managed to make friends with over the last school year. They just rubbed her wrong and often vice versa. She waved at Raven and Cerulean however. "You guys look really nice," she mouthed, not wanting to shout in a ballroom or in a palace or in a place that appeared to perhaps be made, at least partially, from ice. She hoped they read lips.

Another familiar face she spotted that made her smile was that of Amber Zee Everest "Evil Amber" or Zee as Jamie preferred to call her. "Evil Amber" seemed so cold and impersonal. Still it was better than the nickname of "The Murderess" that Zee also had! It made her sound so horrible but that wasn't true at all! The people she had killed were from another dimension, alternate reality... something that Jamie couldn't 100% understand yet, and they sounded like they had it coming. She didn't think Amber/Zee was a terrible murderess at all! She'd always been quite nice to the psychic girl. She was a lot like an older sister, much like Mistress Morrigan actually. Jamie smiled and stood on tiptoe to see over someone's head and give Zee a little wave too. She hoped she saw her.

"The Seer" as Jamie was sometimes known, spotted a few more folks she knew like... her roommate Jade Summers and her date Midnight the werewolf , her brand new acquaintance and hopefully friend Erebus Ayers in an adorable kilt and his date, the hero Apollo Fabre , the ever so sweet Rosabel Lilyway and the lovable Scott Murdock , and even Scott's "niece" Violetta Murdock . She waved at them all and smiled. Everyone looked like they were having a good time. That made Jamie really happy though it was mingled with the slightest touch of disappointment.

Just about everyone seemed to have a date or at least someone willing to dance with them a couple of times just for fun. She, however, had no one. It was a rather lonely feeling! Perhaps she shouldn't have been so shy and aloof all these years and she'd be close enough to someone to go to a ball with them. Maybe if she hadn't gotten a reputation when she first came as being a spoiled, little, rich girl, people wouldn't avoid her. Maybe someone would even think she was cute and appreciate her gifts and talents. There was no way of knowing for sure though. The one thing she did know, however, was why she'd be a spoiled brat at first... home! Jamie shivered a little as she thought of it. She was so glad to be free from that place now but it had been very painful when she first came to school and she had a lot to learn! Suddenly the thought came to Jamie of what had occurred that led to her being sent to The Villain Academy... visions, death, tantrums, terror, such a hideous mixture of feelings were associated with that night! The psychic squeezed her brown eyes tight and tried to shut out the memory swirling around in her head! Then she remembered that night had been a big, elaborate party too! Nothing like this one but still it had been enough to keep Jamie from ever having attended any of the other balls or big parties for the four years she'd been at school! What if something like that happened again? What if she had one of those terrifying visions? What if someone died? No, no, no! She had to stop thinking like that! Everything was going to be fine! Focus on something else!

Just as she was afraid she might lose control and have to leave the room, the villain-in-training at last spotted Mistress Morrigan and Lady Tiamora Sinclair enter the ballroom, looking lovely as always. The sight of her friends made her feel quite a bit calmer as she hurried over to them and hugged them gently, to which as usual, both went totally rigid, unused to affection as they were. But they did love her gown!
