Three Kisses to Save One Man

I wrote a sequel just for a little bit more fun!

Being back home was not as relaxing now as it had first seemed for you, but perhaps it was because all your old friends were trying to get used to the fact that you were back and dating Thailand. Your friend Hungary had complained to you that Thailand was far too weak and “girly” a man for a tough and fun thing like you, but you paid that no mind.

Thailand was funny! He always had something good to tell you or some way to cheer you up when you were concerned. He also understood your relationship with Belarus, Russia and the Ukraine better then anyone else did. He knew they were like your brothers and that they needed your help from time to time. In fact, he’d told you it was one of the reasons he had so much respect for you! So what was so wrong with that?

Well… perhaps there was one downside to having those three as close to you as brothers – they were all very over-protective.

It had started gradually at first but soon it took a dramatic turn! One afternoon you were finished up a report for your boss when a text message buzzed you awake. It was nearly five and although you still had a lot to do, getting a note from the outside world was reassuring. It was of course Thailand stating that he had already booked dinner at a fancy restaurant in town for eight. At the end of a hectic week you couldn’t think of anything more romantic and with a sweet sigh text back your excitement.

No sooner had you done this then the door of your boss’ officer opened and you dropped your phone in fright. Continuing to type away you gently shuffled the phone under your feet to hide it. In the process however your feet managed to forward Thailand’s message on to Ukraine. You didn’t think it was a problem when you discovered it however, you’d once butt-dialled* him on the train. As s00n as the boss was gone you scooped it off the floor and continued with work, hoping it would all be done in time.

When you got back home to your apartment in order to change clothes you were startled to find a neat blue dress laid out for you and Ukraine cleaning up the house from your messy breakfast. He smiled at you as you approached and swiftly you found yourself blushing in surprise. Obviously he had assumed the message sent was one to encourage him to come over and give a hand. As much as you were very embarrassed by Yure’s presence, you couldn’t help but rush over and hug him in a tight embrace. He just hugged you back and blushed brilliantly.

“I thought you want me to come over and give you hand… after-all it’s half-six and you’ve only just got back from work! Nikolai has his car available to drive you to the restaurant so we thought you’d relax and spend time on looking great for your boyfriend.” Yure beamed with his glittering blue eyes. You smiled in return, patting his shoulders before swiftly going into the shower for a good scrub before getting in your dress and having Yure tighten your corset for you, though he was quite embarrassed by it all.

With the preparation done you headed down the stairs to where Nik looked up at you with wavering eyes of awe. He seemed almost childish as you stepped over and thanked him for being so kind. At first he seemed embarrassed by the compliments but then seemed to sour his face as you’d leant in to give him a kiss and then Nikolai ushered you into his car. The journey was quick and comfortable and you smiled as you entered the restaurant with ease and were seated next to the most beautiful man in the world to you.

Charming, funny and sweet… Thailand had wonderful stories to tell you and lots of questions about your world. For the first ten minutes of meeting you spent your time in gentle chit-chat before realising the waiter was standing by and you had not ordered. Upon looking up at the waiter you were forced to blink a few times in surprise… he looked an awful lot like Russia, except that he had a massive black handlebar moustache and was smiling warmly.

Ordering had been simple and you’d enjoyed your starter with great relish. The crowd in the restaurant was lively but not ignorant of company and there were a couple of loud families having fun that just made you smile all the more. As you and Thailand spoke, the subject of family popped up and you realised just how much the boys meant to you. Thailand mentioned a keen interest in meeting your family and as he’d spoken, he’d stroked your soft hands and you’d looked into his eyes and realised how serious this relationship between you really was.

You could easily see yourself marrying Thailand!

However, during the middle of the main course Thailand had to use the bathroom. His departure was not unexpected but something about it made you feel uneasy as you’d enjoyed your dinner. But when you’d finished your meal and he had not yet returned… you began to feel a little too suspicious, especially as a waiter emerged from the staffroom with a massive white band around his head where someone had smacked him. You also noted that Nikolai’s car was still sitting outside the restaurant but he was not within.

Hang on… that waiter!

In a flash you were up and pacing toward the bathroom with an icy glare. Ignoring the sign that insisted no women were to enter, you pushed your way into the men’s bathroom and just in time. Ukraine was holding onto Thailand’s kicking legs, Russia upon his chest and Belarus was trying to pull him out the window with a bag over his pretty face. They were all complaining to one another about the process and you couldn’t help but grin as they all dropped Thailand with a thud to have an argument.

“What are you three idiots doing?” You growled gently, only to hear the muffled delight of Thailand and the girly squeals of the brothers. As they realised they’d been rumbled, the trio swiftly took the bag from Thailand’s head and he was just about to get up and run to you for a kiss… but Ivan gripped his arm firmly. The trio seemed to crowd around him with dangerous glares and Belarus even produced a threatening knife, which made Thailand pale terribly. “Let him go… he’s not going to do anything bad to me or else I’d make him pay! Stop being so protective!”

“Only if you give us each a kiss!” Belarus chimed as he began to lower the knife and once more you shook your head with a snort of amusement. The three of them would never change! Gently you stepped over and gave each of them a tender kiss, only to be interrupted by Ivan diving out of the window when the waiter he’d attacked earlier stepped into the bathroom and gave a shout.

At that moment the trio all attempted to squeeze through the open window but as usual Ukraine’s shoulders got him stuck as he tried to escape backwards. As Belarus tried to push Yure out and Ivan tugged his legs from the street, Thailand just shook his had before stepping to your side and giving you a very sweet kiss.

“Well now you’ve met my family… I guess I should meet yours.” You grinned visibly.
