Description The 3rd Summer Stablemate of my 'series', this colour was suggested me to do, so I did! It is a fairly light bay colour too, I don't do the light bays often so it makes a nice change... I should do them more! Obviously this one, along with all of my other summer stablemates, will be for sale at the end of summer time (probably more like the end of September or something) I will announce them on both MHL and on my journal on DA...

I think he is just below three inches. So fairly small!

Is it a wild bay or a silver bay?

Silver Bay - what is a wild bay? I haven't heard of it before!

"Wild bays are true bays with fully-pigmented reddish coat color and black manes and tails, but the black points only extend up to the pastern or fetlock. Wild bay is often found in conjunction with a trait called "pangare" that produces pale color on the underbelly and soft areas, such as near the stifle and around the muzzle"
Wild bays also usually have a lighter coloured mane and tail, but not to be confused with silver bay. Here's some pictures of a wild bay Arabians.

And this Arabian filly is the best example of wild bay I've ever seen. Arabians can not carry dilute, tobiano, or silver genes, so she is a very brightly coloured silver bay. Note the light points on the legs and the few dark points in the mane.
