Description Combined and manipulated bits and pieces of Ayami Kojima paintings (she did the illustrations for later Castlevania games... featured in Color Kingdom 3, etc.). Somewhat inspired by Mozart's Requiem... especially the Lacrimosa.
The swirly background was made using brushes from vBrush: [link]
First attempt at doing something decent in Photoshop 8... haha...

That's a nice arrangement you have. The guy on the bottom left is the only one I've actually seen before, and speaking of which, You wouldn't happen to know where he actually comes from, would you?

Oh, and the smudge tool is a wonderful way to get rid of pixelly edges, and the rubber stamp works great on bigger stuff.

I'm not exactly sure where he's from. I think he was an illustration from Kojima's "Masters of Color" artbook, but I do not remember if it was a commission or if she just randomly did it.

Yeah I basically went in having no idea what I was doing XD thanks for the advice, guys.
Hmm it says Photoshop CS version 8.0... so it has to be 8 ^^

Hmm I can see some edge as well, but it's really great anyways. I didn't know there was a photoshop 8?

Very nice, but I can see some edges of the pictures. Perhaps you did not erase and blend the edges too well.
