Thanks! It started out with just wanting to paint some Nurse Joy but I thought it looked empty without some Pokemon around her. I picked a couple classics, not necessarily starters. Vulpix was a delight to draw, though it gave me some grief because I wanted it to be a little more realistic than the show but still rather cartoon-y. I think the tail was the fun part. Caterpie iS SUPER CUTE; WHY IS MISTY AFRAID OF IT;;
Squirtle was one strong contender for me to add because it has so much blue on it, and that drawing turtle shells is really fun. I've always wanted to illustrate Pokemon with more interesting variations and textures compared to the simplicity in the show (which is understandable; they've got to animate it, so it can't be detailed).
