My first graphite drawing in a very long time of 's Zuno I believe or maybe just Shadow Cat. I am personally not very pleased with the picture itself. Maybe I am too critical of these kind of pencil drawings now.
The pose is referenced from a sketch of a wolf running in a book.
Other then that, I do not have much else to say other then the scanner likely took away some of the careful detail in the really light areas like always. That has not changed at all, even with my new scanner.
Sad.... is it not?

There are like three things I am really good at: Eyes, paws and feathers. Maybe you will take advantage of all three.

It does seem to be lacking something that your other pictures have...and I understand why you are not pleased with it. I happen to think it's still pretty awesome, though it may be missing your pictures' usual AWESOME kick. But the fact remains, it's beautiful pencil work

I really like the shading in the mane and wings.
The wings are very well balanced and make him look like he's in the middle of taking off for flight. Nice actioney pose.

Yes, graphite. I do pencil with just about all my works with the exception of a oil painting or digital picture.
