Had some spare time to draw the new Pokemon starters. If you ask me, I really like Rowlet and Litten. But if I had to choose one of those two, I would have to go with Litten. Funny thing is, I'm usually a water starter, with the exception of Treecko. But I can totally understand why Popplio is the least popular one, and I think it has to do with its physique. I feel like its big head (and nose) overpower the rest of the body, whereas the other two starters have more even proportions and overall clever pattern design. Honestly, if Popplio would have looked something more like Spheal, I think it would have attracted way more fans (because who doesn't like round, poofy animals?). It worked clearly with Rowlet. I just don't know what to think of Popplio, he just stands out as a sore thumb from the others. Of course, that's just my opinion. To be fair, I didn't think much of Froakie and actually preferred Fennekin at first, but later fell in love with Greninja. The same could be the case for Popplio here, who knows.
