XD Watercolor assignment from Comic Painting class!...Alright, that's not altered Sora or even tanned Riku (lol...joking folks), but they're Ren (the orange haired one) and Louise (he's *comichub OC, Rudy's younger brother btw). Apparently I'm back to be obsessed with them again
that's why I chose them as the main subjects (or targets? LOL) for this project XDI actually feel more comfortable working w/ watercolors than acrylics...old habit dies hard, I guess? XD
Thanks to Ecoline and Dr.Ph.Martin watercolor, the pigments are intense perfectly!!!!

Those colors look beautiful and I like the story at this early stage. It really shows of their personalities well (especially the last frames lol). Keep at it; you do a marvelous job with water colors.

I noticed the broken TV and the rock/ship though so I wondered...hmm, I guess I'll just find out more if there's a third one. They could just be exploring, though...

my personal opinion is that i like the story with watercolors better than your one with acrylics.. just because i like the colors and the shadings more, it looks like its more easily drawn than the acrylics. and as i can read in your comment you like to work with it more aswell ^3^

I adore how you use colors, just a question: do you use pencil, regular pencil, Hb, b, etc and then erase it or do you directly draw in color?
Because it's hard to do it that clean! There's no trace of black pencil there.

I used regular HB pencil and color on top of the line (not recommend to use 2B since it's smudging and gets dirty easily T__T).

This is such a minute detail, but the position of the boy in the top panel being directly over the panel gutters (I think, I forget what they are called it English) like that makes for kinda bad composition >_< I would have positioned him a little more to the right.
