Copic Commission forTitle aka. My Symphony.
Since I have NEVER played violin before in my whole life (to be honest, my playing musical instruments equal zero or minus D:...I wonder how I passed a flute lesson in junior high school, lol. ) so I have to look up references online and watched YouTube for violinist poses >___<". If I made any mistake of the pose, please accept my apology.
And orz...the violin seems too big then, I will be more careful next time, thanks for all suggestion folks!
And woohoo! Katsucon will start next week!

wonderful job on the violin! for never playing it once in your life, this is very close to the real thing. other then the violin being too big (which would make it a viola) you pretty much captured the pose that has been drilled into every violinists head since they started playing (trust me on this... ive been playing violin for over 5 years and teach other people). lol

Aww....I love this....As with all your drawings, but....Sorry. As a musician, I have to say.....You've (more or less) drawn a viola, not a violin. It's way too big to be a violin. 
But you did really well!

Amazing i love it. Not to be mean nor is it meant as mean but i think your violin could use some work. I only say this because i play violin and you have almost got it right. Unless im wrong and i could be.

Taken this was your first try drawing a violinist, you did a remarkable job. The pose looks so fluent and if you look deep in his face, he looks so drawn into his music... I love that, when a picture has that emotion in it. The colors are beautiful as always, and I just love the expressions. This is definately one of my favorite pictures from your gallery.

Ahh just say it's a Viola (which are awesome compared to Violins.. go Bass!). BUt apart fromthat this has serious flair and emotion! Nevermind the proportions not being spot on.

Wow, for someone who doesn't play the violin, you nailed it! I do play, and I have to say, the hands look fantastic (you have no idea how many times my old teacher used to tap at the bulging knuckles on my right hand D: ).The violin itself is a little wide at the top, but I love the texture you added. And of course, his expression is wonderful.

To be technically accurate you drew the instrument as "viol" and not as a "violin" (The predecessor to the violin family) As well, the bow it shaped and held as it would be if the instrument were a viol.

Sorry, but from a purely musicoligical view: the "violin" is but a quite funny bit of wood. Apart from its size and the neck's length there are some more mistakes. Most striking: the strings. Behind the player's hand, there are only three of them. Where did the other one go? Maybe it hid behind the non-existent bridge which actually should seperate the strings a bit so that they can be played individually. In your drawing it seems as though Mr. White Guy was able to play only the outer strings, which is quite not so common for a violin - if, above all - the strings could actually vibrate, because they look to me as of stuck to the neck. And anyways, where are they fixed? Anywehre inside the totally un-scrolly scroll? Then, the soundholes are way too small and way too un-f-ish (wich I would not mind if the violin in general was okay) Lastly: The instrument's shoulders are wrong. Maybe it's about the perspective, but they just don't seem right.
Plus the other crtique given.

its very good .. i played viola for a long time so the pose seems very natural. If you think the violin is too big then think of it as a viola.. because the viola is accually a little bigger than the violin and it has one different string that the violin.

For never playing an instrument, you did a nice job. A musicians pose is something that is not natural at all to draw. The thing is, if the violin's that big the bow needs to be way longer. And also it looks like he's not really holding on to the bow. But the coloring and position of the musician himself is amazing.

very elegant and beautiful piece. i can feel the dismay on the characters' faces and the flowy hair adds to the drama. the violin is a bit big but you noticed already so that's okay (it could be a viola, lol.)

I love it! ;--; <33 It looks natural how he's holding the violin. The only thing I spotted was that the pinky finger on the right hand should be touching the bow, and the arm is a little too high but it still looks AMAZING! His left arm. Perfect. The violin is beautiful, even if it's finger board-less and without a bridge. I can never draw a violin... even if my life depended on it. XD And I play the violin, so I have one, I just can't draw it. ... ANYHOW! I love this drawing! <3

That violin is very well drawn! And the pose is good to, but it does look like he's falling backwards a bit too much, and typically, we lean in a little bit (not enough to be really noticable, but moreso than back, but it's so close, dont sweat it too much! ) I can only find three other things and they're very, minutely small, but if you want to know, the fingerboard is typically a darker color, often black. The hand holding the bow is normally just a bit further back (you can shift your wrist easier that way, though it's more personal taste, but holding it farther up is sometimes used for beginner players who's bows are too long) and there is usually a very thin black line running around the edge of the violin, factory made ones are painted and tradiontally made ones are cut out, painted and then layed back in, but given that your violin is a dark color and it would be incredibly difficult to get that line on, you will be totally justified to skiv it.
On anther note: WHITE HAIRED VIOLINEST IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!
