Copic Commission forMaede is ~sorceress-namiko 's character, and she's such a sweet girl, indeed!
(even though I haven't drawn girls that much, I'm pretty satisfied with this~ ). I was using acrylic paint to give the feel of translucent-ish of the wings, and that probably is the most difficult part...I guess.Tools :: Copic markers, Acrylic paints, Gold gel pen

I really admire the compositional effort you had implemented into this comissioned piece. The petals show a sense of genlteness about her, and I really like the detail that you had put into the ruffles on her dress. The ONLY thing I see that I find anatomically incorrect is how her translucent wings aren't in the same 3/4 angle of her body.. If you know what I mean, jellybean? But overall, a job well done!

Very nice composition! The way you added the petals to add and sense of gentleness of her. The ruffles in her dress are beautifully detailed. The only thing that I see that is anatomically incorrect is how the wings aren't quite aligned with the perspective of her body.. I'm not sure if I'm expressing this right, but 3/4 angle of her body just doesn't match the angle of her wings, if you know what I mean, jellybean? But overall, you did a wondeful job.

She's really beautiful. You've captured her personality perfectly. I love how she's sitting in the tree and how you used different mediums for the wings and halo - it's really risky to experiment with different mediums, but the effort was well worth it. As for why her eyes are different, I can explain. Like I told you before, her blue eye was brown in life... it came from her mother's half (her mother was angelic in personality and appearance). The black half is from the father (demonic and cynical in personality - a person whose soul is completely shrouded in darkness). It's not the best reason, I know.
