And you've done an excellent job too! Uniforms aren't always the easiest things to draw, but you've pulled it off expertly, as well the aura of the scene too! Just lovely composition! ^___^
Having studied Nazi Germany extensively this year as part of my History course as well as being a WW2 enthusiast, I have to say it's a little niave for some of the people below me to say "a good nazi is a dead nazi". Yes, a lot of them did horrible, unforgivable things, I don't disagree. But murder/hatred in revenge can't be justified like that. You're only lowering yourself to that level. Also, I think we need to get to the facts that a) We don't know each individual German's situation, ie blackmail, situation after Treaty of Versailles, Great Depression etc. b) There were still a lot of Germans to be proud of at that time that fought against the Nazis, often within their own ranks (search people like Von Stauffenburg, the White Rose, and the Edelweiss Pirates) and finally and most importantly, it has been researched and proven that most of us would do the exact same horrible things in such a situation (e.g conformity and obedience experiments conducted by Milgram and Zimbardo). And I think we've seen that in places like America (White Occupation) and Britain (their actions within the formulation of their Empire) and Russia (Mass Jewish murders in gulags for many years prior to WW2). Hey, as an Australian, even I am not ignorant of how horridly we have treated the Aboriginal people either!! So it feels a little rough, in a way, that Germany has had to live with the actions of their past (and people are often very cruel in their judgements- alot of my friends of German descent have been bullied), when we of other nations have never really suffered any conquences for ours. Just saying.

I'm confused. I've read ALL the comments on this and spent time looking at this piece... I just don't understand, I'm sorry. The only kind of nazi I like is a dead one, no matter how "stylish" you perceive them to be. There's artistic merit here, but his legs and the legs of the chair are off. I can't help but be offended by this, so hoorah if that's what you're going for.
