Description Well... Technically not a redesign per se, but I did change his quirk so that it would better fit his mom's quirk.

His quirk is: Were-Shark. He's technically half-human, half-shark in this form, and is similar to a werewolf in some ways. However, after every transformation, he gets exhausted to the point where he'll pass out directly after. So when he enters that form, he has to stay in it until the fight is over or he goes home... which could be hours.
The moon has no impact on his transformation, but water definitely does. When he's in water, he morphs into a full-shark form. But when he's on land, he keeps his arms and legs so that he can move around.

He's one of the few ocean-creature transformation quirk-holders that can adapt to both water AND land, which makes him valuable in the workforce he's going into.

(Also that part I added about the "2 Peens" is true, but I wrote that there as a joke for my friend because we like to make jokes about that stuff)

His personality is still the same as it's always been: He's a strange little guy who is as awkward as a human could possibly get. However, he has a hidden dark side that only comes out behind closed doors, and how I would describe that is: HE'S ONE K*NKY MF. And his girlfriend only encourages that type of stuff from him.

The things Katsue has witnessed growing up with him in the same room... Oh lordy.

Izuko and Katsue are basically complete opposites:
Katsue is angry and irrationally violent, but at the same time he's conservative and reserved and is basically normal in every way. (this is both in public, AND behind closed doors)
But Izuko is shy, twitchy and awkward in public, but has this dark side to him that nobody would ever really suspect him to have. This dark side doesn't ever leave his bedroom though, but as an extra measure, he takes some steps to hide it by being as non-reactive as possible.

Its not a malicious dark side; not at all. It's not like he makes lamp shades out of human skin, or ties girls up in his basement to torture them. But this part of him is still there, and someone with a trained eye like Kirishima would immediately notice that something isn't quite right with him.

This is one of the bigger reasons why Kirishima doesn't trust Izuko with his daughter: He doesn't know what goes on inside this kid's head. Usually with kids like Katsue or Haru, he can sort of sense what is going through their heads when it comes to girls based on their expressions or body language. But with Izuko, there's a strange disconnect from that aspect of himself during his normal day-to-day life, which Kirishima thinks is intentional.
He's ALWAYS tense. ALWAYS jittery. ALWAYS shy. ALWAYS keeping his mouth shut during side-conversations. Either that, or he's non-reactive and acting like a stale piece of bread.

Kirishima doesn't see a shy kid who's awkward, here. He sees a wolf in sheep's clothing; a tiny Ted Bundy. He sees a kid who is intentionally trying to make it seem like he's "too shy and awkward" to hide this aspect of himself from the real world because he's ashamed of it, or thinks it will scare normal people.

And Kirishima is NOT wrong for being worried about that!!

In fact, if I was a parent and I encountered a kid like this, there's NO WAY I'd ever leave him alone with my daughter for 2 seconds. Its one of those situations where you can't take any chances.

But of course, don't get the wrong idea. Izuko is a strange kid, but he's still a good guy. He's not about to go defile a goat, alright? He doesn't put gerbils in places they shouldn't go. He doesn't hurt people or WANT to hurt people.
He just likes really strange things and hasn't accepted it yet.

...Wow. Okay that was a big detour from the point I was originally trying to make. But I mean... Izuko is one of those characters whose simplicity makes him complex, and I love him for that.
He's one of those characters who nobody takes the time to get to know because they think he's boring or weird, which includes his own family. (Apart from Katsue, of course. But the difference is, he knows a thing or two because he's SEEN a thing or two).

But fear not!! Eiko is a person who has gotten to know (and love) every side of him, no matter how weird or boring he thinks it is. They're perfect together...

I pity him as much as I love him tbh, because I know that a lot of people (including myself) can relate to the struggles he faces.
