A drawing for my children's book illustrating class. Rhist is making soup! I've always wanted to draw a picture like this.Watercolors, watercolor pencils, and gouache on regular sketchbook paper (that's why it's wrinkly). It looks much better in real life, I promise!

My only critique is the background. Next time, maybe try to get it level and smoother, that way you keep that nice softness your pictures always have (which I love).

While I was drawing it I suddenly began to crave soup. Then when I painted it... I wanted some crackers, for some reason. So we got out the ritz crackers. XD
