My second tutorial! I use a lot of the tutorials from DA, but I don't think I've ever come across one on wrinkles and old people.. I wasn't really planning to make this, but I finished my "The Good Witch" painting in one sitting, and decided to put the snapshots together to a tutorial.
I hope someone finds this useful! Let me know if anything is unclear, or if there is anything more you want to know. I hope my grammar and spelling is understandable, it's one am in the morning now, and I've been working on this all day..
I would appreciate it if you could link back to this tutorial if you use it in something you submit.

I was going to do an old woman sitting by a riverside, with the memories of her life spinning around her. But I don't know how to do old people!! D: But this is the most helpful tutorial out there! c: This deserves the Daily Deviation it got

AMAZING TUTORIAL.. this is the only good wrinkle tutorial ive seen on the internet.... i would love to see this as a video tutorial..

Amazing! Not many people go in this direction by drawing elderly people, but this was a shockingly good job because it just leaps out at you! Great work, and good God, those wrinkles really brought the picture to life!

Thank you! There is really no reason to focus exclusively on young and beautiful people in art (though I do it too much as well). Another symptom of modern ageism I suppose.

This is a great tutorial!! It isn't common to see the elderly used to teach digital painting, everyone tends to draw the 'pretty people' hehe (myself included XD) . When i'm brave enough to attempt the wrinkles, i will definitely use this tutorial!
