Execpt augumon is blackwargreymon's rookie form, the thing about the black or corrupted digimon is that it was anger and negative emotions (hey like the grim!) that caused their evolution to be tainted. Now the titular blackwargreymon came from an enemy forging him with her black spires so we didn't see that but that's what would happen if someone got so mad they forced their augumon to warp digivlove.
I know that thematically you want blake to have a black coloured digimon, but I don't think this works.

I know how Dark Digivolution works, but its not relevant here. I'm going with my own approach and narrative with this. Here, BlackAgumon IS BlackWarGreymon, the same one from Adventure 02 but reborn in the world of Remnant after his redemption and sacrifice. I feel that Blake and BlackWarGreymon's character histories and personalities could make good development and conflict with each other. In my idea, over time he can (or eventually will) digivolve or de-digivolve to his other forms including BlackGreymon and MetalGreymon (Virus) but they won't be forced. Just because he's the corrupted and negative form of the original Agumon doesn't mean it necessarily makes him automatically evil, that's like judging a book by its cover.
I don't expect you to understand my idea and reasons. Just know that I just like doing this because it's fun.
