The face needs some work, but you're on the right track. And also, the lined paper has gotta go. D: Get a big packet of printing paper. That's what I use. :3

Much better than I could do, and it's one of the few animes that I ever really liked, so that gets extra points.
You should really learn how to use Photoshop to ink, color and shade your stuff, you could get some nice looking finished products if you played with it enough.
