thanks !
it's a granary (not a habitation ruin) located about 26+ miles in southeast utah's backcountry.
it's about 5+ feet high - prob about 900 + years old (?)
but it's def way cool !
there are some other sweeet ruins in the area (google)
house of fire
falling roof ruin
honeycomb ruin
mud streak
just to mention a few.....
all located (except honeycomb) on cedar mesa about 20 miles west of blanding, ut.

The intrepid photographer went through a lot to get this shot. Did you 4WD in or come down the river and hike up? Or isn't this The Doll House in the maze district?

this is the doll house in the manti la sal nat'l forest east of blanding, ut - not the one in the maze district.
we drove in - something like 25 miles - a little over 2 1/2 hours. good road - car passable, but the last half mile was high clearance.
i wished i had a GPS otherwise my next trip will be a mystery drive - someone else drove in and there are some many roads going off in different directions it will be difficult for me to find it again, plus it looks like it's be restored - the roof adobe is of a different color and the interior beams still have new bark on them ?????
but still a way cool ruin (granary)

I guess I'll have to a little more research then to see if I can find the location. Maybe I'll stumble on it in June when I'm down in the four corners area.

there's two of them (The Doll House)one's in the maze district of canyonlands on the west side of the colorado rivder and this one which is on the east side of the colorado river in the manti la sal national forest - about 25 miles in (2 1/2 hour drive) at about 8,200 ft elevation. someone else drove and i couldn't even begin to explain how to get there ?
4x4 is nice but not needed - just high clearance on the last half mile.
this will probably be me only time to it.....a long drive and day....
