A fantastic line artist to collaborate with ( a fantastic lineartist period
)this is about 75% what I visioned the colors for this to look like. so I am only 75% happy with it.

Let me start by saying overall I like the picture. You have good proportions, and excellent textures. The clothing looks good, but I think could be better by showing more folds. This would compliment your smooth style by adding some contrast and thus giving the picture some additional layers.
I cant stop feeling like this is a picture I have seen a hundred times before. I would have liked to see some additional originality. I know this is harsh, but it just seems like something that has been done but in your style.
Let me close by saying that I also like to take a concept and put my spin on it, and there is nothing wrong with that.
I always like to end my critiques with a positive. In other pictures I have seen like this (young xmen) the toons look to be the same age as they are in the present. Your picture does not do that. The toons look like they are late teen, early 20s, and thats how it should be.

I like the palette you used on this piece. It's unusual. I like when people think outside of the box. Using this pastel palette was a very cool idea!

I'd agree. There a lot of VERY impressive brush strrokes and effects in the top in bottom but it doesnt have the same contrast as your typical stuff. Not "bad" just different.

yeah...thats probably it. not my favorite image I've done but its seems to have gone down really well with everyone so I guess thats a success.

I havent checked the cast and roles for that yet. I fiugre they'll find them self in a bit of a ditch with patrick stewart dead and unable to play xavier.
