Description Lion in captivity

I did this for submission to the 2013 Arts for Animal Rights Contest to show the plight of African Lions in captivity in zoos and circuses around the world. The heart of these magnificent creatures is of a proud, free roaming nature, and a social obligation to its pride(family).

oh my gosh. SO COOL!!! 
and so tragic.  people really do fail at "humanity" and compassion.  it's all in the lion's eyes.
