To the people freaking out - unless this is a lion cub or edelias has really tiny hands, it is too big to be a kitten fetus dipped in plaster. A newborn domestic kitten fits in your palm. I know, because I have held newborns, and I've also had to take a stillborn or dead kitten away from a nest. The pose is entirely realistic.
This artist most likely has close ties to veterinary, biology, pathology, zoo or some other medical or scientific people/facilities/what have you to have such intimate knowledge of animal fetuses. Its that first-hand knowledge seen with an artists eye that makes these works so compelling.

That's not a fetus, that's a new born kitten. You can see the umbilical cord and it's completely formed. For your sake, you better not have killed a kitten just to drop it in plaster, because that's not art!! That's animal cruelty and it's disgusting.

Incredible! Very strong. And the pose of the kitten fetus is almost Christ-like, which makes me love this even more and puts this on an even higher tear(?) I just absolutely love this and the other sculptures. So original and beautiful...ugh, I just can't describe it...it's just perfect.
