I fixed the arm!!! sort of...I tried really hard and I still feel like it's so awkward..but hopefully it looks less awkward than before?...That's what I get for trying to draw without a reference >.<
Not to be confused with the Nala (notice there's a h on mine
) from the Lion KingWell I think she's smexy, I worked pretty hard on her, you can see an example of my progress--->
Ah, she grew up so fast...lol
I also attempted to do a decent background..because I suck at backgrounds and really need to start practicing them (I like to think that mountain behind her is pride rock...lol)

Good colors, good hair, I like the "freckles", BUT...the arm is laying funny. It looks like the arm is behind her and the hand comes up and around...it's wonky.
We should see her arm at this angle...it's not a natural feel.
Otherwise, good stuff.

Thanks, yea...I tend to create awkward arm positions...I tried to figure out how the arm would actually look or where it would actually go but I ended up giving up, I'll go back and try to figure it out again, thanks so much for the advice...The arm position is awkward

Very nice; I love the framing of this piece. I agree that the best art is that which is accidental!
I feel as if more of her arm should be showing from this angle, just from how the hand is XD (x.x trying to be helpful but failing)
The design and general feeling here is very nice. I got Corel a few weeks back and have been trying to figure out how to use it, as well XD I just can't seem to get the hang of it. If I knew how to use the program, I would suggest using a separate layer for the background, to avoid the timid bits of white coming off her tail, etc (or maybe it's just the fuzzy brush not knowing what to do with transparency, I Dunno XD!)
But I love her mouth, the soft flow of her hair and the tilt of her head. Keep it up!!

try not to use airbrush! i like artwork but it too soft on the furs..try to adjust the flow of the brush for a much realistic look..

Well her skin is actually skin not fur but I see what you're saying about the soft look and I agree...It's just that I'm really new to digital art (and I use corel painter not photoshop) so I'm still getting the hang of it...hopefully I can figure out the brushes in more depth because I've kind of picked my favs and tend to use only them.

you know what it took me several months to get a hang on corel painter but with photoshop it only took me weeks..PS is way way easier to use than any other digital editing..

I've heard that...but I've tried photoshop and it really confused me, I have both of them but so far I really prefer corel painter, I think maybe I just need to take another crack at it..hopefully I'll get it...

Yea, she came out nicely, I was trying to draw a girl and I just couldn't get the mouth right so I (jokingly) true a cat mouth and I actually ended up liking the way it looked...All my art are accidents, whenever I think about it too much I usually end up screwing up..lol
