What kind of camera do you use? It must be high tech. I can't get photos this detailed with my little digital camera. I've gotten some crisp ones but not with detail like this. I'd love to be able to see each scale on my reptiles in their photos. I really want one of the little compact digital Nikon cameras but their so expensive and I spend all my extra cash on my other hobby, keeping reptiles. Been spending so much on new reptiles and I got epic plans for decorating their cages. Trying to get a nice reptile collection and make them custom decorated setups before my husband and I decide to have kids in a year or so.

I have a canon 50D. You will probably need a DSLR to get better quality and more details in your photos if you are having issues with a point and shoot (little digital camera).

Nikon makes a new compact DSLR that I want. It looks like a regular digital camera almost but with great zoom and changeable lenses.

I don't know much about Nikon cameras. But that sounds like it'll offer better quality than what you use now.
