I am very fortunate to be around captive birds that are trained. It helps a lot for getting great photos

The first place I go is your page to see if you have
taken new photos....and then I drool at the beauty
you show with your captures....
We only have a small zoo and the birds are behind bars and in cages...
If birds are Featured at the zoo, they are enclosed in a large, very large
roped cage, which is somewhat better for viewing

Almost all the birds I photograph are captive birds. Many of which are falconry birds or birds used for education. They are trained to fly free and come back. That is my only real secret to getting nice photos.
