is shorter beak feathure for juvenile predatory bird or this species thing?
Just out of curious or might my eyes don't notice differences well

He isn't a very big bird, so his beak is a little smaller than some of our other birds.

He's coming along well! Harris hawks are definitely among my favourite birds

How different are these guys to train compared to other raptors? I'd imagine it to be easier, but in what way?

He's pretty much done with his training. Harris Hawks a very intelligent, so once they understand what they're supposed to do they come around pretty quickly.

Thank you! He is handsome. He hatched this year, he is around 6 months old or so.

It's amazing how with just a few months of life he shows such strength. He is already flying or still learning how?

They are amazing creatures. He's been flying around since he was about 45 days old, but he's only been trained for about a month or two.

I thought they needed more time to start flying but I guess nature chooses the ones that start early.
