Description
So I was watching "The Golden Compass" and I really admired the costume design. I looked up an interview, and the designer described her style as "somewhat between ‘20s Edwardian, ‘40s all mixed in."This is my attempt. The dress has a drop waist 1920s feel, the silk dress feel of the 1940s, and a little bit of Victorian with the choker, the gloves, and the shoes.
And I made it a little steampunk-ish with the pocket watch dangling from the dress' waist.

Those gloves really make the whole doll come together some how; I guess that's because white is always such a good compliment. Fantastic folds! I love early twentith century steampunk, even more than Victorian steampunk, so you sorta just made my day.

The dress is very beautiful, and all the folds are realistic. However, the hair looks a little flat; it's not as shiny in some places as it should be.

Your style is so pretty. I think you achieved your style mixing well, it all looks so great together. The color of the dress is great, I like it a lot. The hair is wonderful, too! Heck, it's all wonderful.
