Itβs healthy to show a hint of your ribs, but no, your side shouldnβt look like a washboard.

I think the point the artist is trying to make, is about the ones that are UNNATURALLY skinny. Like the ones that you can count their ribs... not the ones that are skinny enough that you can sort of see the faint outlines. There is a difference between someone who is skinny because of a fast metabolism and one that one that has an eating disorder. I know people with fast metabolisms, and I can't see their ribs, I can see their rib cage, but not their ribs. Anything skinnier than that is NOT healthy.
Being overweight is not healthy either. But that is not the issue at hand.
Thought I would put down my thoughts because it seems the wrong message got across.

You make a good point. I eat, but my ribs still show (I like it's whats called a deformed ribcage, and everytime you suck in they show.) People who DON'T eat, there's the problem.

Because your preference is for curvy women, why not create a stamp that says 'I support curvy women' instead of a stamp implying that 'thin women are not sexy'?
I'm 16yo, 45kg and 5'6". Believe me, I eat ridiculous amounts of fatty/unhealthy food, I'm lazy, and yet, can't help my ribs and hipbones showing. It's called a fast metabolism, and it's nigh impossible for me to put on weight. I used to hate being skinny, because I used to be teased for it, but now I've come to love my figure and think of it as 'sexy' or whatever you please, so seeing stamps like these is quite demeaning.
If it was a stamp saying 'curves are not sexy, eat less', there would be an outcry. Sorry for the novel, but it's a ridiculous double standard and I just want you to understand.

Exactly.
I've seen people post stuff on here going "Bones are beautiful".
If bones were supposed to be seen, they wouldn't be put UNDER skin and fat layers.

Question...
Why does everyone attack skinny people, assuming that we all have some sort of eating disorder?
Some of the models on this site might have an eating disorder, but who are you to call anyone out? I think it's pretty sad that people need to look at anyone who's not 'curvy' and cry 'she starves herself!'

I agree.
I'd also like to know why it's perfectly fine for people to say "EW skinny is so gross it's not sexy at ALL!", but if you say the same thing about a bigger person everyone goes crazy with anger and calls you "shallow", especially when a guy says he likes skinny women..the response is always "You're brainwashed by the media/you're a shallow, immature little boy/you don't know what a real woman is!!" or something like that...

Ugh, I know exactly what you're talking about.
Believe me, because I'm not 200+ pounds, I get the terms 'anorexic' and 'bulimic' or both (at once) thrown at me. It's disgusting that bigger women are pitied because apparently that's just the way God intended them to be...well, maybe God intended for there to be NATURALLY thin women on this earth too. Or do people just have it pounded so deep in their brains that skinny = starvation? I was asked by a bank teller if I was 'one of those girls' because I'm thin. Do people not realize what that does to someone?

I did not say that they have an eating disorder. This stamp simply states that my personal preference is to see some 'curves' on women. I prefer to see bones on skeletons in anatomy class. If you prefer skinny people more power to you. I understand that some people are just naturally skinny. However, in this day and age many people do starve themselves because the world has told them that this is sexy, and personally I do not agree with that.

AGREED. I hate how the fashion industry seems to only hire ridiculously skinny girls, and a healthy girl, according to them, is plus sized. >_< There are naturally thin girls out there, yes, but god dammit, if they want something beautiful, get a healthy looking woman. A roll of fat on the belly is more beautiful than ribs.

I could not state it better myself. I HATE how any body fat is seen as a flaw in society today. In my opinion nothing makes a woman more beautiful than a some 'meat' on her bones. Thanx for the support.
