Stunning and beautiful. I don't know how to describe this, but I find it as a very emotional work, it has a feeling of nostalgia for the child in all of us. Really lovely, glad this has a very well deserved DD

Wow! This is magic. I love how the unicorn seems to be taking form as your girl dreams it up, and the cat of course sees it first

This is my daughter, the tree stands behind her elementary school and they used to play on it at recess. The cat was her first pet and dear friend. The books, her passion and escape. The Unicorn, her fantasy. This was a piece I had drawn out when she was about 12, then it lay as a sketch for about nine years until I found an opportunity to paint it. I think it captures her spirit and character wonderfully.

I agree with you when you say it reminds you of Alice in wonderland. It makes me think of the beginning of the story where she is sitting by a tree and reading. ^-^

The fact remains in your mind Loki...the shading is perfect, the dress is outstanding, the cat has fur texture, the books seem to have volume in them, the unicorn has perfect muscle structure and the way it's body flows is amazing, not to mention the proportion of sizes from cat to girl to unicorn are exact. I'm not sure I have to say anything about the tree, that stand up for it's self. (literally) So just leave this Deviant alone Loki.~Kayla

You seem like a very nice person judging by your page, however I feel that these conversations you have between yourself and "Loki" might not exactly be the best way to show the artist how much you appreciate their creative talents.
