Description Well thank you very very much for the support all of you great people at DA Special to and for featuring and awarding the DD.
During this time and of course much more now I have been asked how this image was done so I completed a walkthrough/tutorial that was in the making to satisfy the hunger for knowledge of the enthusiasts. So here it is, thanks to all hope you like it (TUTORIAL HERE) [link]

*Now this image is available as Hi quality print in my gallery at [link] endless framing options, paper, finishes etc. Thanks.

Second piece for the ETP, [link]
This one also took over a month of the same process as the other Neptune piece, sketching, planning and painting. All the knowledge I received from Greg Martin during the making was again priceless and amazing, big thanks to Greg for all.

Wallies are over at ETP [link] In several different resolutions.

Science:
When low pressure combines with weak coriolis forces at the pole of a planet with atmosphere, a downward spiral of air called a polar vortex can appear. While found on other planets in our solar system -Including Earth- this phenomenon takes an unique twist on Venus where polar coriolis forces are almost nonexistent. At the south pole can be found not one, but two vortices intertwined.
This curious structure could one day provide a rare glimpse beneath the clouds of Earth's mysterious twin.

WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning! Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lives in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that the best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. and she sat there in agony for hours until she died. Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that read this letter, on a Monday night at 12:00 a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other pictures on the site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake.apparently, if you copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes you will have the best day of your life tomorrow. I had to post this.

What would be really cool is if someone recreated this with photography, like maybe scrape the surface of some soft-serve ice-cream and light it a certain way...I think that'd be nifty too.
