Haha oh my god, I'd never think it's similar, but you're right, it is, only a bit though :'D I swear, I'd never copy my sister's drawing nor she'd copy mine, it's a total coincidence (we both prefer to draw characters looking right, we may have a bit similar coloring style.. and we may think very similarly :'D )

I've been a longtime Lucas fan, but now that I've completed Mother I like Ninten a ton too. Bit of an internal conflict. I adore both drawings a lot still though.
(I think it's because they're both on the left side and writing into books that also made the similarity pop out too, now that I think about it)

The wilting sunflower gives it a sad atmosphere, and the drawing of Claus on that scrap of paper makes me sad.
