I'm thinking the head is a little too large on the painting (everything looks well proportioned to the ears), but that could be due to the baldness.
I don't actually see a lot of bald people, so I don't often see how low the eyes are compared to the crown of the head.
Also. The painting's expression scares me, as the blank, I don't have emotions, stare makes me think it's going to kill me.

I always look at my drawings and think they are garbage, it'll only improve my craft. Sometimes, I AM impressed with the final look, but I always say "Man, this part right HERE looks like ass" :3

negative criticism is the most painful which is unfortunate because it's the only useful kind

It's only really painful when people are being *holes about it. That does happen FAR too often, but that's not the only kind.

I disagree. I find it to be extremely painful. It's actually easier to take when people are jerks because you know that they have some stupid subjective reason to be salty. When their decent, you know they're honest and you just suck

It's not a subjective reason when they're just being *holes though. It's a "they're just being *holes" reason.
I've gotten harassed by people who claimed to be giving me "harsh criticism" in the past.

right, but you know they aren't giving harsh criticism, they're being "*holes" so you can dismiss what they say. You can give harsh criticism without being a jerk and that's most painful because it's honest and true

Well for me, it's never painful because it's honest, it's painful when I don't understand how to fix it and they don't bother trying to tell me.

Always remember:...Everybody is wrong.
You are a wonderful artist with a magnificent art style and if someone says something different they are just uncultured neandethals.
Always rant and insult them for they blindness

Honest criticism is necessary for improving art. It kinda bugs me that my friends give me nothing but compliments on my art except for like, two. It's not that I dislike their praise, it can be very uplifting actually to know that my friends like my art, but I need to know what's wrong with it so I can improve.
