Far as I am aware, there is no possible lighting scenario that could change it to that color.

The interesting fact is that a lot of people see this dress as blue/black at the beginning.
The white/gold version seems to be a psycho-optical misunderstanding caused by the poor lighting exposition in this picture.
There is a ton of cases where our brain sees colours, dots, or whatever, where there is nothing like that at all on an image.
In the case of the Evil Dress, the poor exposition tricks your brain to think the dress is under-exposed, and then you adjust automatically colour nuances and change perception before the image starts to be conscious in your head.
Other people do this same omg-can- my-brain-really-do-that thing but thinking the dress is over-exposed, then the colours as consciously perceived are differents.
