So is this part of a kind of prequel to 1984?

Not really- I wanted a historically more realistic take on a Communist Britain- but I've definitely tried to make these posters evoke that sort of Big-Brothery image. I guess with the shaking hands and the big V, this is the most obvious attempt at doing that.
