More like dog of the year bit other than that, nice job. And Brain looks pretty cute when he'd crossdressed.

The only character on "Inspector Gadget" who kept on bustin' his ass and throwing himself out on the frontlines. Here's to you, dawg! *raises margarita* ^^

Cool. I always thought that Brain was where they put Gadget's original brain. That way you draw him he's clearly a snappy dresser, no matter what clothes he had to resort to.

I like Brain myself. He's such a cutie. Though in the comics and in "Gadget and the Gadgetinis",they took the white tips off of his ears. Also,in "GatGt", he quit, cause he went a little "crazy" with trying to protect inspector gadget.

The characterization of Brain in "Gadget & the Gadgetinis" was horrendous. Sigh. But I'm wondering, which comic strips are you talking about? All the Inspector Gadget comics I've seen have had Brain's ears colored with the white tips, unless they left it out by mistake.

I'm referring to the comic books. At least I think there were comic books. If not, the strips then.

I guessed you were referring to comic books, but I was wondering *which* comic books exactly, since there have been several Inspector Gadget comic book adaptiations from different countries over the years. And off the top of my head, when I saw your comment, I couldn't think of any comics adaptation in which Brain's ears didn't have the white tips. Looking through all the adaptations I know of, though, I was actually able to find a few... were you thinking of the comics Dave Windett drew for the Fox Kids magazine? Seems Brain's ears didn't have the white-colored tips there:Β www.davewindett.com/fox/gadgetβ¦

What do you mean? Have you read them all?
π: 0 β©: 1
Mesterius In reply to spongefox [2014-12-03 22:15:23 +0000 UTC]
I have seen samples of just about all of them - at least, I've seen samples of all those I've *heard* of, which is a rather large bunch. And in addition to that, I have read many of them... several complete issues of the comic books from the 80s directly adapted (and badly traced, art-wise) from TV episodes, a lot of gag strips from different magazine adaptations from the 80s, and Viper Comics' single American attempt, "Gadget on the Orient Express", from 2011. And the sad verdict? NONE of these are very good, and many of them downright terrible.Β
(Some of the gag strips from the British TV magazine "Look Out" aren't too bad, but they stray very far from the characterizations and stories of the TV series, and are really generic gags for the most part.)

Ah yes, Brain.Β I remember him.Β Seems like they called him that because he was the only one who was in the habit of using his on any regular basis.
