Description

The victory of the Confederate States of America in World War I and the Confederate States of America is still a state of Democracy even though it is a Herrenvolk democracy (a system of government in which only a specific ethnic group participates in government, while other groups are deprived of rights, theocracy, in which one group dominates the state, is a related concept. The German term Herrenvolk, meaning “superior race,” elections were free, but electoral suffrage was restricted on the basis of race, with governance that reflected the interests of the politically dominant racial group), and State Oligarchy and an agricultural economy dominated by oligarchic elites. Avoiding a fascist state! as happened in the reality of Southern Victory.

In addition to the racial segregations of the CSA, racial discrimination was used against black populations, with persecution and murders.

A scenario where the Central Powers lost the First World War.

After the war, the USA lost much of its territory. The USA becomes permanently diplomatically neutral. It underwent enormous governmental changes, including a series of amendments to the Constitution, such as the prohibition of States from claiming territories and the right to the existence of armed forces. Basically, several countries have undergone not very different changes in the German, Italian and Japanese constitutions. At the same time, a strong economic recovery.

In early 1917, the war in North America was still a bloody stalemate. Neither the United States, nor the Confederate States, nor the Dominion of Canada and its British allies were advancing in the bloody trench battles. This would change the United States Army in Kentucky, making one of the most controversial attacks of the entire war. Using outdated strategies from previous decades, resulting in the deaths of thousands of soldiers in senseless frontal attacks on Confederate positions. In what was probably the only true period of genius of the American military command, he devised a plan that he believed would end the war by the end of the year. The military command found great use in Barrels (Tanks), large, heavily armored combat vehicles that were introduced at the beginning of the war. The military command planned to use all the barrels, about 300, and assemble them into a single formation. Launching their attack on Memorial Day (April 22; anniversary of America's capitulation in the Second Mexican War), known as the Barrel Roll Offensive, the American attack managed to break through the initial Confederate trench lines. However, the attack was halted outside of Nashville when barrels broke at the worst possible time. The Confederate Army of Kentucky, the main Confederate formation in the theater, saw an opportunity to encircle the American armies. Linking up with columns in Arkansas and eastern Tennessee, the Army of Kentucky managed to surround both United States armies. Over the next few weeks, Confederate troops slowly attacked United States forces. The military command increasingly lost touch with the reality of its situation and refused even the possibility of surrender. On May 25, 1917, Nashville Pocket forces surrendered. The few troops that escaped were forced to retreat across the Ohio River into Indiana and Ohio.

In the aftermath of this unprecedented disaster, socialist extremists in the United States began mass protests to end the war, but President Theodore Roosevelt stubbornly refused. On the Maryland front, the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia was in danger of losing its holdings in Maryland, including the de jure capital of the United States, Washington DC. Reinforced by newly arrived troops from Tennessee and Kentucky, along with newly raised black troops, it planned a direct assault toward Philadelphia, the de facto capital of the United States, also using barrels, only this time the engineers were ensuring that they wouldn't break. By launching the offensive, codenamed 'Longwood', on June 15, he managed to break through the lines of the United States Fifth and Ninth Armies. By the end of the month, they were on the outskirts of Philadelphia. By early July, the city was surrounded and besieged. President Roosevelt and the government did not escape sooner, deciding to stay to maintain strong morale. Things were going terribly, however. Local US troops were unable to relieve the beleaguered capital and a full-blown socialist uprising was taking place across the country.

Further north in Canada, Anglo-Canadian forces began to copy the concentrated barrel strategy and slowly drove out US forces. Manitoba was fully liberated in late June, while liberation campaigns continued in Ontario. At the end of July, Ontario was liberated and Anglo-Canadian columns entered New York. Meanwhile, the Mormons, taking advantage of the situation in the United States, launched a second revolt in Utah. Despite the position his country was in, President Roosevelt continued to howl in defiance. In early August, Roosevelt was assassinated in a coup d'état by army officers. On August 9, 1917, the United States asked the Confederates, Canadians, and British for an armistice, which was signed five days later in a church outside Watertown, New York.

The Treaty of Trenton, New Jersey, signed on December 7, 1917, was negotiated personally by the President of the Confederate States, Gabriel Semmes, the President of the United States, Walter McKenna, the Canadian Prime Minister, Robert Borden, and the British Ambassador in the United States, Sir Cecil Spring Rice. The treaty was visibly harsh towards the United States; who went to the Confederacy with the stroke of a pen. The United States was forced to cede states such as Arizona, New Mexico, Missouri, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and the now de jure former capital of the United States of Washington DC to the Confederate States of America. The pro-Confederate populations of these regions joined the Confederate States, the pro-United States populations of these regions saw refugees, including blacks fleeing Confederate oppression, emigrating to the United States.

The Independence of the Republic of Deseret in Utah was recognized by the United States. In the case of Canada, the United States was forced to cede the state of Maine.

In addition to territorial concessions, the United States was forced to pay harsh reparations to the victors and also had to agree to severe restrictions on its armed forces. For example, the United States military could not have more than 100,000 men, barrels, submarines, poison gas, and new planes were banned (with severe restrictions on current models). Ultimately, the United States had to accept blame for starting the war. The treaty was a total humiliation for a nation that had lost its third consecutive war to the CSA and its allies. Russian territory Alaska became a territory in armed conflict in the Russian civil war between the Bolsheviks, the Reds and the Russian Republic, the Whites. The Bolsheviks control Alaska now, even though the White Russian army receiving support from Canada was defeated by the Bolsheviks.

Hawaii remains a British colony, after its victory against the United States and the Central Powers.
