So this is the cast that I pictures while reading the book...try not to hate me.

ARO: Joel Swetoe
I chose Joel as Aro because when I saw his performance as Alpha Avatar in Charmed, I said "That is my Aro"

CAIUS: Billy Drago
I chose Billy because when I saw his performance as Barbus from Charmed, I just knew that Caius would be exactly like that.

MARCUS: Alan Rickman
I chose Alan because I loved him in Harry Potter and Sweeney Todd.

ATHENDORA: Jayne Wisener
I chose Jayne because of her performance in Sweeney Todd, and I thought that she would be a perfect vampire.

JANE: Emma Watson
I have never approved of Dakota Fanning as Jane. I honestly think that she ruined Jane for me. Kill me what you want, but that's my opinion. I think that especially because of her new hair cut, Emma would do SUCH a better job.

SULPICIA: Keira Knightly
I chose Keira because that was just the first pretty blonde-ish woman I could think of...Try not to hate my reasons.

ALEC: Alex Watson
I think that Emma's younger brother looks about her age, and even though I'm not sure what he'd be like as an actor, but I know that they looked right for the part in my mind.

DEMETRI: Matt Dallas
(Ugh that picture makes me want to do such dirty things...) Anyway, um, I think that even though Demetri is a hunter, that he would be this sort of innocent looking thing that also drew you into him, and that he had this sort of face that you could not deny anything to...Like a burrowing spider, who hunts for its prey, burrows into the ground, and waits for the prey to come to him. I think that Demetri would make a game out of it, and so Matt popped into my mind...Wow that was a long explanation. XD

Chelsea: Cheryl Cole
At this point, I was just thinking of good looking actresses that I knew.

Afton: Ryan Reynolds
Ugh, when he played Hannibal in Blade, I just about died...Who knew he would look that good with a goatee? I like him better with the fuzz.

Corin: Christian Coulson
Holy crap, he was the perfect Tom Riddle. Seriously, ONLY Gaspard Ulliel could have out Tom Riddled him...Yes to Tom Riddle is now a verb.

Heidi: Noot Seear
I didn't really have a mindset of Heidi that matched any actress or model in the world, so I just chose the Heidi that Hollywood chose.

Santiago: Oliver Goodwill
Yum he looked delectable in Call Me When You're Sober. No real reason. I just wanted him to be a vampire, and I thought he looked delicious in CMWYS by Evanescence

Renata: Kay Panabaker
I thought that Renata would be a young woman, in her late teens and that she'd have this sort of girl-next-door beauty that was subtle at first and then really obvious later, so Kay popped into my mind.

Felix: Henry Cavill
He looked to die for in the Tudors. Yum. Plus when I heard that StephMeyer wanted Henry to play Edward, I made him Felix because 1, I didn't have a strong mindset on Felix, and 2, just yum.
