The first Captain America film is actually my favorite out of them all (The Avengers being the next one up). I'm looking forward to this next one, and from what i'm hearing it's really good.

Haha yeah, pretty much everyone i know has seen it as well.
Batman is my favorite hero ever, and i actually didn't see Dark Knight Rises until it came out on DVD

Batman's one of my favorite super heroes ever too!! But I don't really actually have a favorite... And my family only sees some movies in theater, we usually wait for it to come out in DVD, too

I usually can't afford to go to the theaters, mainly on the opening weekend. I remember The Avengers was $20 i think, and that shocked the hell out of me lol. I don't know why all the concessions are so expensive, it's ridiculous. They'd actually have a lot more sales if they dropped everything to a reasonable price.

My parents would totally agree with you. It's why we rarely go to theaters; everything's so expensive! I would buy so much mor popcorn and candy if it were reasonably priced. Why buy expensive candy when you can buy the same stuff ouside for a better price and just sneak it in?

Exactly! The saddest part is that people actually line up to pay nearly three times the amount of a retail item they can get for three times cheaper at Wal-Mart or a gas station. Consumerism at its finest

It's like, are you kidding me!? Why watch something once, when, for about the same price, you could own it and watch it as many times as you wanted?

It's cause you're getting a more dramatic and larger interpretation of the film rather than sitting at home and watching it on your TV. It's a different experience, and i love going to the theater and watching movies just as much as i like it when i'm at home.
Plus it's nice to get to look at a different screen and get out once in a while

True. The screens so much larger at the theater than my own screen, it's really fun to see
